My husband and I would like to tell you how eternally grateful we are for your help during a very difficult time right now. Words could never begin to express how truly grateful we are for your financial assistance. My husband, since his injuries, has declined so much. Also at the same time, our daughter has become critically ill. Through the help we received we were able to pay towards their medical expenses and bills we have accumulated.

We cannot say enough about Impact A Hero! Our family came to them during a very difficult time in our life asking for help and they responded immediately. Impact a Hero helped us through the process and ensured that our family would not only be able to make it through this difficult time, but we would also be able to have a great Christmas for our children and family. Last month I was in a bad situation and had no one to turn to. I came across the Impact a Hero Website and contacted them for help. It’s not easy for a Veteran or soldier to ask for help, but Impact A Hero came through like nothing I could have ever imagined. For the first time in a very long time, I truly feel like a Hero who is not forgotten, and the sweat, blood and tears I shed for my country, are truly appreciated. Thank you Impact a Hero, You have forever impacted my life in a positive way. God Speed.

I wanted to send my deepest and most sincere appreciation to your organization for providing my family with assistance in our time of need. I have struggled severely with PTSD and have contemplated suicide or leaving my family. I was able to hold down a job, but due to stress, my PTSD continued to flare up. I entered the VA Inpatient PTSD Trauma Treatment for combat veterans in July, and will remain here for several months. Through the grace of God I continue to get better, however I have now been told to resign from my duties of my job. This has caused additional stress and the need for financial assistance. I reached out to Impact a Hero, – with your help, we were able to catch up on our mortgage.

The help of the VA staff, my fellow veterans and your organization – I have the strength to carry on the daily fight and know this is only a setback. You were a light, a beacon during this dark time for my family. God Bless you and all your generosity.

Thank you so much for your help with my lawn, you have made my home a more comfortable place. I actually have grass! I also planted some apple trees and peach trees. Added some mulch around the birch trees, now in the process of making a new walk way, and have been able to purchase all or most of the tools I will need to maintain these features and landscape. In my particular case and point of view, the real hero is my wife. Although she did not shoot a bullet in the line of duty, she battled on her own to keep our family together, to be my caregiver and the mother of our daughters. I believe that when a Soldier goes to war, the Family also goes to war. When a Soldier is wounded, the Family is also wounded.

Impact a Hero has made not only an on impact on me, but to all the other heroes which they have helped. It is overwhelming the appreciation and respect which Impact feels for our country and patriotism. They care and watch over people like me and my family. I am now able and ready to keep on pushing forward on this long road to recovery, and become a productive citizen of this great country.
